Tack vare Michal Schultz så har AROS nu ett fungerande PCI-stöd. Denna skärmdump visar PCITool, ett program som låter dig browsa i en lista av alla PCI-devices som sitter i din dator.

Adam Chodorowski har tagit sig tid att göra ett bra paket av PNG-ikoner, baserade på Gnome "Gorilla"-ikonpaket, för att visa denna nya AROS-funktion. Du kan även se det nya "Wanderer preference program", som just nu låter dig ändra bakgrunden av skrivbordet och mappar i fönster, som även senare kommer tillåta att ändra alla andra funktioner i Wanderer.

Notera även att alla typsnitt använder antialias.

Två instanser av UAS som körs samtidigt, som visar både Picasso96 och chipset-emulation. UAE för AROS är en Zine-applikation, grafik output och -input-hanteringen görs med hjälp av en custom class som är skriven just för denna hantering.

Zune blir bara bättre och bättre! Nu tack vare Georg Steger så har vi fler classes implementerade, som du kan se. Du kan även se gcc kompilera ett av test-programmen för de nya implementerade classes.

The UberPaint 4p bitmap drawing program, recently ported to AROS (which was fairly easy as it uses SDL). As you can see, it's a Deluxe Paint clone. You can also see the beautiful art that Adam Chodorowski has produced with this program. ;-)

Här är Freetype Manager, som används för att installera och konfigurera nya Truetype-typsnitt i systemet. Inte så användarvänligt, men du kan pilla på varje liten detalj. Ännu viktigare, det fungerar. :-)

Här har vi några nya funktioner i icon-library. Du kan se den nya effekten för de valda ikonerna ("S"-mappen är vald här, därför är den ljusare än de andra ikonerna). Ikon-namnen ritas nu upp med en outline, för att bli synliga även på en mörk bakgrund (detta kommer naturligtvis även att vara konfigurerbart för användarna i framtiden).

Vi kan även se fil-identifikationen i bruk: text-filerna i "S"-mappen får speciella def_Text-ikoner, medans filen "AROS.png" får den generella projekt-ikonen. Vi har inte så många ikoner just nu, men om de fanns tillgängliga så skulle "AROS.png" få en def_Picture-ikon (Eller även kanske en def_PNG-ikon om det fanns tillgängligt).

Behold AROS in all its beauty: these three demos are running at the same time, carefully supervised by Exec. From left to right, "Flamme", "Knp" and "Firework" all show their stuff (the latter demo being the latest addition to the AROS deck of magic cards).

Now you can also develop in AROS using the False programming language by Wouter van Oortmerssen! The screenshot shows a False program displaying all primes between 0 and 100 (backwards), with the source code just above. Nice and readable, eh? ;-)
